Sourcing: This rare variety of oregano prospers in low altitudes, mainly in the islands of the Aegean. Only a handful of farmers cultivate it nowadays. It's harvested by hand, dried naturally and sorted in house at Daphnis and Chloe, without any mechanical means. By keeping the leaves and flowers intact, we ensure that they will stay fresh and strong until reaching your kitchen.
How to use: With your fingers, break the leaves and flowers in little pieces. You’ll need 4-5 buds per portion. Sprinkle on salads, dressings and pizza. The islanders typically use it for marinating lamb or chicken roasts.
Tingling, herbal and refreshing, this is the best finishing oregano out there.
