Chiles de Árbol are slim, bright red chiles from Mexico named after the ‘tree’-like bush, they grow on. They have a uniquely nutty and smoky flavor with medium heat. They are spicier than a jalapeño but far less than their cousin, the cayenne pepper.
These versatile peppers can be crushed and used as topping to add warmth and texture to a dish, pureed for a fiery salsa, or left whole for a stir-fry. Their flavors will come alive when warmed up in a dry pan before using them.
Ingredients: Arbol Chiles.
**Please note, photo shows a 4 oz bag, but we are shipping 2 oz bags of the dried peppers.
